The Stupa Guest House and Restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of historic Kathmandu. Just a few minutes walking from Kathmandu Durbar Square, you can stroll along the narrow twisting streets, and marvel at the countless temples, stupas and shrines. Here much of the medieval architecture has been preserved and you can easily enjoy several days just taking in the treasure-filled shops and pagoda roof tops.
Wind down after a long adventurous day in a place you can feel comfortable and secure.
Relax in our comfortable and spacious Double Rooms, each with their own bathroom and seating area.
Enjoy our top-floor Double Room, where the windows overlook the rooftop terrace and the city of Kathmandu beyond. Enjoy your privacy on your own floor, or step outside to enjoy an afternoon with your book and some tea in our garden terrace.
Families or groups of 3 friends will enjoy our Triple Room with private bath and city views. We have Triple Rooms with three single beds or double and single beds available.
This place is just perfect! The location is awesome, the staff is (and really feels like) a warm friendly family, they have the cutest resident dog ever: Jack (which just happens to be my favorite guy's name), they have great value food and offer some of the cheapest services in Kathmandu. We used their driver to pick up our bags, which were late, from the airport and he is a great and honest guy.
Like to stay in this place. Really nice and clean guest house whit restaurant and everything what you need just ask in reception )) travel ticket, or wherever... Guys very friendly, helpful and nice people, feel Im home. Good location and nice view.
I stayed here for 3 nights in March, and I found the room spacious and comfortable/ It's in a good location- very close to the main street (Thamel), but away from the crowd and traffic. My room didn't have hot shower, but I discovered that they have a common gas-heated shower on my floor:) They have a nice rooftop terrace where you can get an interesting view of the neighbourhood. Ram and his family were friendly, served me delicious Dal Bhat, and made me feel safe and welcome during my first few days in Nepal. Thank you!
